My order arrived 45 minutes late, the food was cold and one item was missing. I have not had a response to my message asking for a refund for the missing item. To top it off, the food wasn't even nice, soggy over cooked vegetables, tough meat and the pathia was not hot and sour, just a generic spicy curry.

Normally excellent food and always go here for our takeaway curry but tonight we ordered earlier than normal and it was very disappointing. The mushroom rice was far too over cooked and tasted stale. There was way too much paprika and turmeric in the rice so bright yellow and way too smokey. The chicken tikka was far too over cooked making it tough to eat!! The sauce was watery and too much spice compared to normal. VERY DISAPPOINTED tonight.

I've ordered from Curry Mahal a few times and the food has generally been excellent. I'm not sure what happened on this occasion but we were very disappointed. The chicken tasted as if it has been boiled and then just dropped into the sauce, and the nan was stodgy. Partner said his food was just average.

Have ordered from here before and quality was fantastic, however my chef special king prawn curry was fairly bland with over cooked prawns which tasted of nothing, the container was also half full which isn’t to be expected. However naan breads and appetisers were as good as previously, maybe the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night.
